Arrière-goût
Projet photographique culinaire
Aftertaste
Culinary photography project
Have you ever been afraid in front of your plate? That feeling of mistrust, that encounter with the unknown that can make you tremble, make you see blurred? The more the years go by, the more we industrialize our consumption. Since the last century, it is no longer from the fork to the fork but from the test tube to our plate.
But this radical change in our consumption patterns has not been so insignificant: in addition to the anecdotal ready-made cakes, there are also chemicals, the need to have an ever-increasing yield and the eyes that are turned away from the conditions of production of our food.
What is the result? Beyond the ecological and economic consequences, there are also health consequences: sick people, deaths, and the crystallization of many fears that are characterized by a growing mistrust and above all a two-tiered food system where the richest can eat organic food with a light mind, while the less fortunate have to make do with industrial food that is cheap to produce.
